What is covered under my protection plan?

Your SureBright Anywhere protection plan covers eligible mechanical and electrical breakdowns after the manufacturer's warranty ends, including failures affecting internal components like PTZ motors, cooling fans, control electronics, and night vision mechanisms. It also includes protection against eligible power surge damage starting from your plan purchase date.

My camera still records, but it won't pan or tilt anymore. Is that covered?

Yes. If the issue is caused by a mechanical failure affecting the camera's pan, tilt, or zoom mechanism after the manufacturer's warranty ends, your protection plan may cover the repair.

What if my recorder (NVR or DVR) stops working?

If your eligible NVR or DVR experiences a mechanical or electrical breakdown after the manufacturer's warranty ends, your protection plan may help cover the repair or replacement.

My camera won't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Is that covered?

Not always. If the issue is caused by a hardware failure inside the camera, it may be eligible for coverage. Problems caused by your home network, internet service, app, cloud service, or software aren't covered.

My security camera has a cracked housing, but it still works. Is that covered?

No. Cosmetic or structural damage that doesn't affect the camera's operation isn't covered under the Breakdown Protection Plan.

Does it matter where I bought my security camera?

No. SureBright Anywhere protects eligible security cameras and systems purchased from major electronics retailers, home improvement stores, online marketplaces, or directly from the manufacturer.

Will the plan recover my recorded video if my storage device fails?

No. SureBright Anywhere covers eligible hardware failures, but it doesn't cover the recovery, restoration, or replacement of recorded video or other stored data.

Can I buy a protection plan after purchasing my security system?

Yes. You have 90 days from the purchase or delivery date to add a Breakdown Protection Plan for your security camera.

Are power surges covered?

Yes. SureBright Anywhere includes protection against eligible power surge damage beginning on the date you purchase your protection plan, subject to its terms and conditions.

Can I cancel my protection plan?

Yes. Cancel within the first 30 days for a full refund. If you cancel after that, you'll receive a prorated refund.
