What does a mixer and blender protection plan cover?
A SureBright protection plan covers your mixers and blenders against unexpected mechanical and electrical breakdowns. The coverage typically includes failures affecting motors, internal drive systems, gearboxes, speed controls, control boards, thermal protection components, switches, and other internal parts.
My mixer still powers on, but it isn't mixing anymore. Is that covered?
It may be. If the issue is caused by a covered internal drive system, gearbox, or transmission failure, your protection plan may help cover the repair. Some external drive couplers and other wear components may not be covered, depending on the diagnosed cause.
Does this plan cover a burned-out motor?
Yes. If the motor fails because of an eligible mechanical or electrical breakdown after the manufacturer's warranty has expired, it may be covered. Damage caused by overloading or misuse isn't included.
My speed controls stopped working. Can I file a claim?
Yes. Hardware failures affecting speed selectors, control boards, switches, or internal electronic controls mostly qualify for repair under your plan.
Does power surge damage count as a covered breakdown?
Yes. Power surge damage is covered from the date your protection plan begins, subject to your plan's terms and conditions.
Are blender blades and mixer attachments covered?
No. Removable blades, beaters, paddles, dough hooks, whisks, bowls, jars, and other accessories are considered consumable or detachable parts and aren't covered under a SureBright Anywhere protection plan.
Can I protect both stand mixers and countertop blenders?
Yes. SureBright Anywhere protects a wide range of eligible appliances, including stand mixers, hand mixers, countertop blenders, personal blenders, immersion blenders, and many other mixer and blender styles.
I bought my mixer from a local appliance store. Can I still get coverage?
Absolutely. SureBright Anywhere protects mixers and blenders purchased from various retailers, specialty kitchen stores, online marketplaces, or directly from the manufacturer.
How quickly should I report a breakdown?
If you experience a breakdown, you should begin your claim within 30 days of discovering the issue to help ensure timely service.
What happens if my appliance can't be repaired?
If your mixer or blender can't be repaired, you'd be eligible for a replacement or reimbursement.
