That typically includes the hardware like internal speakers, displays and touchscreens, microphones, built-in cameras, physical buttons and mute switches, control boards, audio amplifiers, and internal power circuits. Power surge also falls within the scope of the plan.

Yes. Internal speaker hardware failures affecting sound output are covered breakdowns, along with failures of the internal audio amplifier. If the sound has genuinely degraded or died from a hardware failure, that's a claim.

It depends on the cause. Overheating from an internal component failure is covered. Overheating because the vents or grilles are clogged with dust, or the device is placed somewhere without ventilation, is a maintenance and placement issue, which isn't. Keeping the grilles clean protects both the device and your coverage.

Absolutely not. Smart speakers and displays purchased from major retailers, online marketplaces, or directly from the manufacturer all qualify. Your coverage follows the device, not the store you bought it from.

Yes. Eligible mechanical and electrical breakdowns resulting from normal wear and tear are covered after the manufacturer's warranty expires.

You can purchase a SureBright Anywhere protection plan for your eligible smart speaker or display within the applicable purchase window of 90 days after buying your device.

Yes. Eligible hardware failures affecting the display or touchscreen are covered after the manufacturer's warranty expires. This includes issues such as blank screens, flickering displays, or touch controls that stop responding due to an eligible mechanical or electrical breakdown.

Yes. Mechanical failures of physical mic-mute switches and camera privacy shutters are covered as failures of operating parts. On a device whose privacy controls matter, a broken shutter is a real failure, and it's eligible.

If your covered device can't be repaired economically, it will be replaced or you'll be reimbursed according, so a dead speaker or display doesn't mean rebuying at full retail.

Yes. You can cancel your protection plan within the first 30 days for a full refund. After 30 days, you are eligible for a prorated refund.
