Yes. One moment, one impact, visible damage with a clear cause is exactly what the plan is designed around. Chips, gouges, and veneer knocked loose by the hit all qualify.

Yes. If your bookshelf or shelving unit includes glass shelves, glass doors, or glass display panels, eligible accidental breakage may qualify for coverage under your protection plan.

The plan follows the furniture, so here's how that splits: the gouge in your shelf, covered. But the vase isn't.

Yes. Heat marks caused by a covered accidental event - such as placing a hot mug or other hot object on the surface - may be covered, provided the damage wasn't caused by a fire.

No. Gradual shelf sagging, loose shelf pins, separated joints, hardware failures, and normal wear aren't covered. This protection plan is designed for eligible accidental damage, not wear, defects, or mechanical issues.

Repair is always the first path. When the piece genuinely can't be brought back, the plan moves to a replacement, a similar item of equal value, or reimbursement. You're not left holding a broken unit and nothing else.
