Yes. An electrical breakdown of the module’s logic board or other eligible functional circuitry may qualify for coverage if it causes the module to freeze, lose core functions, or stop operating.

Does the plan cover power surge damage to electronic drums?

Yes. Power surge damage to the module’s internal boards or a pad’s internal electronics can be covered. Power surge protection begins on the date of purchase.

How quickly do I need to report an electronic drum breakdown?

A covered breakdown must be reported within 30 days of the failure.

What happens if my electronic drum equipment cannot be repaired economically?

If a breakdown cannot be repaired economically, the plan may provide a repair, replacement, or reimbursement according to the applicable terms.

When does my Drums & Percussion warranty coverage begin?

Breakdown coverage begins after the shortest applicable portion of the manufacturer's warranty expires.

What documents do I need when filing a drum equipment warranty claim?

You'll need your Agreement, sales invoice, and purchase receipt when requesting service. Keeping these documents in your Warranty Vault can make them easier to access when a breakdown occurs.

What happens after I submit my electronic drum equipment claim?

The reported failure is reviewed against the plan's coverage terms. If it is an eligible breakdown, service can proceed according to the applicable claim resolution.

Can I still use my protection plan if I have already had a previous covered breakdown?

Yes. A previous claim does not automatically prevent another breakdown from being reported during the applicable coverage period. Each claim remains subject to the plan terms.

Are separately purchased drum cables, stands, or racks covered?

No. Separately purchased accessories and cables are excluded. Coverage applies to failures of the covered electronic drum equipment itself.
