The plan does not cover accidental damage such as drops or spills, theft, fire, flooding, misuse, cosmetic damage, consumable parts like batteries and bulbs, improper installation, commercial use (unless purchased for it), pre-existing conditions, or failures caused by improper storage, ventilation, or non-compliant electrical wiring.
When does my coverage begin?
Coverage starts after the manufacturer's warranty expires. Your exact coverage start date and term are listed in your SureBright Confirmation Email.
What should I do if my portable AC or space heater stops working?
Report the failure within 30 days of when it first occurs. Before arranging any repairs, contact SureBright to obtain authorization, as repairs must be pre-approved to qualify for coverage.
Do I need to keep my purchase documents?
Yes. To receive service, you'll need your protection plan Agreement, sales invoice, and receipt. Keeping these documents together makes the claims process quick and straightforward.
Is there a deductible for repairs?

Yes. Eligible damage caused by a power surge is covered from the product's purchase date, provided the loss is not covered by another insurance policy.
